Pork

Lean Tender Pork

We raise our pigs free range on our farm.  They have lots of room to run and “root”.  We do not use antibiotics or hormones.

We sell the cuts of pork at our farm and farmers markets. Our pork has been processed at a USDA inspected facility. Review our price list then call us at 810-632-5737 or email us at roeskefarms@comcast.net to hear our hours.  Need a whole pig?  Call us for details.

Our pork is so flavorful you do not need to add a lot to it.  It will work with any of your recipes.  I like putting a roast in a slow cooker with some garlic and onions.  It gives the house a wonderful “homey” smell at the end of the day.

The pork steaks are marbled with just the right amount of fat they are great on the grill without needing to be marinated.  If you have a favorite marinade, use it!

Our pork chops are thick cut.  More than a half inch but less than 3/4 inch.  We get a lot of compliments on our bacon too.
